Life’s Pain Reduced with Samadhi

Pain is an unavoidable and universal part of life. Every human being is sure to experience some type of physical or emotional pain throughout the course of their life. Yet, with Samadhi, a timeless and egoless state of consciousness, one can reduce the suffering associated with pain.

Samadhi is experienced as a transcendent state in which one’s sense of self disappears; it is known as “a who-less awareness” where there are no boundaries between oneself and the rest of existence. This level beyond thought allows for great clarity and inner peace that helps one cope with pain more effectively. When faced with life’s struggles, this mindful approach to living has been said to help individuals move from feeling overwhelmed by pain to having greater understanding around the situation.
