One of my daily rituals for me is to spend time with nature. Spending time with nature is a different time of meditation. The calm, centreless ness and beauty one can feel with nature can never be found in any man-made objects. This nature is priceless.

In nature, symmetry is a captivating and mysterious force. Everywhere we look in the natural world, we find symmetrical shapes that demand our attention and wonder. From snowflakes to sand dunes, from tree branches to spider webs, symmetry is everywhere in nature and it has a distinct beauty of its own. Its presence brings a sense of balance and order to the chaotic wildness of the outdoors. But what is it about this natural symmetry that draws us in?

Why the most Natural creation Symmetry?

Nature has been a source of fascination and beauty for centuries, with its mysterious and perfect symmetry. From the blooming petals of a flower to the way snowflakes form in the air, nature is full of symmetrical wonders. But why does nature create these symmetries?

One theory suggests that nature creates symmetry to optimize efficiency – it reduces complexity while still achieving maximum productivity. For example, a plant must have an equal amount of leaves on either side of its axis so it can absorb the same amount of sunlight from each direction. This ensures that all parts get enough nutrition which helps it survive in any environment.

The other popular theory is that Nature creates symmetry as a result of evolution. Symmetry enhances beauty, which gives plants and animals an evolutionary advantage since they will be more likely to attract potential mates or deter predators.

Nature is a masterful mathematician. All around us, in the world and throughout the universe, mathematics plays a major role in our everyday lives – whether we realize it or not. Nature uses mathematical equations to create fascinating patterns and complex structures like branching of trees and the famous Fibonacci series and golden ratio found in things such as shells and flowers.

The Fibonacci sequence holds an incredible place in nature; it is a series of numbers that start with 0 followed by 1 which then proceeds to adding the two numbers together for each consecutive number thereafter. Its beauty lies within its relationship between each number- as you move through each number, the ratio of one number to the next gets closer and closer to 1:1.618 – famously known as The Golden Ratio or Divine Proportion.

When it comes to natural symmetry, there is no shortage of examples. From the sun’s axis in the sky to trees and butterflies on the ground, nature is full of stunning displays of perfect balance.

Take sea mammals for instance. Sea otters are some of the most adept creatures at interacting with their environment in a symmetrical way. Not only do they have a beautiful fur coat that wraps around their bodies like a cloak, but they use tools to interact with their food – all while floating upside down in water!

Butterflies too show remarkable symmetry as they flutter from one flower to another. Their brightly coloured wings mimic each other perfectly as if painted by an artist’s brushstroke.
