We have all been told that the self is a stable and consistent force within our lives, but what if this were not necessarily true? What if our ego was as variable and dynamic as the world around us? As it turns out, our sense of “me” may be much more complex and adaptable than previously thought.
Much like chameleons can blend in with their surroundings, so too can we. Our brains are constantly adapting to new experiences and stimuli in a process called neuro-plasticity. This ability to morph our perspectives on life allows us to form new opinions, make groundbreaking discoveries, and interact with the world in ways never before possible. The ever-changing face of ego is something to be celebrated for its flexibility and creativity!
